Chelsea and Steve are living proof that blind dates can end with a happily ever after! They were set up by a mutual friend and on their first date – they closed the bar down.  Since then, they have enjoyed each other’s company while working on home projects, taking road trips to explore new places, and vacationing each August in their “happy place”, Nantucket. 

A few years ago, they dined at The French Laundry in Napa Valley to celebrate Steve’s birthday. Afterwards they received a surprise private tour of the kitchen and then walked around the patio grounds. Steve said there was only one more thing that would make the day even more perfect and he got down on one knee and asked Chelsea to marry him.

After finding the Farm at Eagles Ridge online, Chelsea and her parents drove over five hours in a snowstorm to visit. As they pulled into the driveway towards the Farmhouse – her mom excitedly exclaimed, ““Chels, this is it!” and Chelsea replied “I KNOW MOM!”. The Farm was the perfect venue for their chic country wedding.
