A Beautiful Spring Wedding Inspired by Nature & Simple Things | Terrain – Devon, PA

Kerri and Chris met at Amada in Philadelphia.  The second she met him, she immediately wanted to get to know him better. Chris on the other hand wasn’t the slightest bit aware that a recent college grad had such a crush on him, but she was persistent. A month or two later, a coworker hosted a rooftop party where she ensured that Chris and Kerri were attending. That party was the first step in moving their relationship forward (thank goodness for good co-workers!), and a month later they took our first ‘trip’ together to Stone Harbor. It was here that they decided to make their relationship official. 

I can recall my first meeting with Kerri, her sweet momma, and sister well. We had brunch in Lititz during one of her visits to PA from her home in Colorado. I asked Kerri what inspires her during our meeting and how she wanted her event to feel. And while our early conversations and site visit – transformed into a new venue and date – the heart of Kerri’s and Chris’ event remained consistent.

With inspiration from nature, simple things and a desire to treat their guests to good food and a seamless experience, their event last spring was truly inspired by their home in Colorado and a deep appreciation for the little things and a slower pace.

Let me tell you friends – she is equally as beautiful, warm hearted and devoted to her family and friends. And you can see her joy in every image of her gallery. One of the things she was most excited for on her wedding day  was to become Mrs. Garces – and that joy is evident in the small sampling of images below.

She values the little things and has impeccable yet approachable taste. She wanted an event that felt simple, modern, and rustic – with modern farmhouse touches. And I think she achieved just that. From the venue to her color selection to the floral installations and the perfectly peppered in personal touches – this event embodied Kerri and Chris’ beautiful love story.

Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Garces. It was truly an honor to work and dream with you. Thank you for welcoming us into the start of your marriage. Wishing you a lifetime of adventure, love, and laughter.
