United by a shared love of aquatic sports, Paige and Jared’s earliest memory of each other reaches as far back as the 4th grade. It’s no surprise that lavender and soft blues were two primary colors selected for the event’s color palette, and no surprise just how deep their love runs (and reading Jared’s account of his favorite memory of Paige was a true testament to just how perfectly matched these two are).
But what I adore most about Paige and Jared was something they said when we first met – something that I know will remain with me for years to come.
I asked what it was they wanted their guests to experience – what was most important to infuse into their event. To which they immediately responded, that they wanted their guests to feel a deep appreciation for all they each had done to get them to this day.
Paige and Jared started dating in high school. Their relationship had been influenced and shaped by each guest and they wanted theirs guest to experience their event with a sense of gratitude. And this is exactly what we did – welcoming guests with live music, a collection of heartfelt in memory photos, and a joyful welcome statement arrangement – all used to welcome guests into this couples home away from home for the evening.
I ask all my couples to use a few words to describe their event – Paige and Jared identified the importance of working together to design an event that was unique, memorable, and infused with gratitude. From antiqued ladders built by their family to artfully designed florals, Paige and Jared’s event featured all those beautifully rich springtime details to celebrate the start of their next chapter. Keep reading for a small sampling of this perfect April event – one that I will cherish for years to come.
Here’s to your happily ever after Paige & Jared – thank you for sharing your hearts, dreams, and beautiful event with our team. We cannot wait to see where life’s adventure takes you!
