These days, you will most likely find Jordan and Richard at a craft brewery watching sports together or sipping old fashioneds while planning their next travel adventure, but just a few years ago – you would have found them on their first “date” in a tent, in the Coca Cola lot at the  Indianapolis 500.

After being set up by a mutual friend and texting for months (at the time they lived in different states), they finally met in person. And hey if you could spend three days sharing a tent and not showering – and have as much fun as they did – you know you’ve found that once in a lifetime kind of love. 

Fast forward, and they’re back at the Indy 500 and Jordan is expecting Richard to pop the question. But the week goes by and nothing happens. They part ways since they’re still long distance and Jordan returns to her daily routine. That Friday night, they’re texting about upcoming plans and as Jordan lets her dog out in her backyard, she finds Richard all dressed up. He got down on one knee – and you better believe she said yes! 

The couple said “I do” at The Farm at Eagles Ridge in Lancaster, PA on a beautiful crips autumn day – during COVID to boot! As a YSDE design client, Jordan and the YSDE design team worked together to bring her incredible wedding dream/vision to life. Their wedding was a gorgeous realization of their whimsical, garden vision. But don’t take our word for it, the images below are truly worth a 1000 words!
